The Neuton® is the HVAC industry’s first smart, plug-and-play controlled chilled beam pump module (CCBPM) for reducing chilled beam system installation and operational costs. This innovative, award winning pump module provides active condensation control effectively addressing one of the key design concerns regarding active chilled beams, and it offers improved response to occupied and unoccupied spaces. Its novel control sequences vary water flow and/or temperature as needed to accommodate changes in zone load conditions. The Neuton pump module is an ideal solution for individual comfort control and can handle up to 30 GPM managing up to 15-20 chilled beams each.
Features
The Neuton is a factory-built and pre-tested controlled chilled beam pump module package complete with its own powered-integrated direct-digital controller, chilled and hot water connections, valves, variable-speed electronically commutated motor (ECM) pumps, smart sensors, and other unique features.
The Neuton is also available in a variety of configurations including Neuton2 and Neuton4.* The Neuton2 has a single actuator for summer/winter switchover and Neuton4 uses dual actuators allowing for simultaneous heating and cooling.
Cost Effectiveness
The Neuton pump module is a cost-effective solution for cooling spaces requiring individual comfort control. The intuitiveness of the Neuton eliminates the expense of a separate chiller, boiler, and secondary water distribution system associated with conventional chilled beam designs. These pump modules simplify installation, controls, and beam system commissioning. Reducing the cost of chilled beam installation by 30% or more, the Neuton allows for smaller pipe diameters, fittings, and feet of pipe.
